Facility Leader: Jack Garner

Jack Garner

Jack Garner was named warden at Bartlett State Jail in November 2016. Garner joined CoreCivic in 1996 as facility administrator at T. Don Hutto Residential Center, and he later became warden at Metro-Davidson County Detention Facility. Garner was promoted to senior divisional director of Facility Operations the Facility Support Center, where he also served as managing director of Facility Operations and special advisor. Prior to joining CoreCivic, Garner spent 27 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he started as a correctional officer and later worked as assistant warden and warden at multiple facilities. He served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Garner holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University.
