Facility Leader: James Yates

James Yates

James Yates was named warden at Davis Correctional Facility in October 2016. Most recently, Yates served as assistant warden at Davis and at North Fork Correctional Facility. Yates joined CoreCivic in 1997 as a case manager at Great Plains Correctional Facility. He promoted through the ranks, later becoming assistant warden at Diamondback Correctional Facility and Bay Correctional Facility. Yates served for nine years in the U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
