Chuck Keeton, Warden

Chuck Keeton was named warden at La Palma Correctional Center in March 2016. Keeton joined CCA in 2003 as warden at Dawson State Jail. Most recently, he served as warden at Central Arizona Detention Center. Prior to joining CCA, Keeton spent several years as a warden at Management and Training Corporation (MTC). Prior to that, he spent 16 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he started as a correctional officer and promoted through the ranks, later serving as warden at multiple facilities. Before working with the TDCJ, Keeton served six years with the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, where he was a psychiatric security technician and supervisor. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Texas at Tyler.
