Warden: Russell Washburn
Russell Washburn was named warden at Citrus County Detention Facility in late July 2010. Washburn joined CCA in 1996 as a correctional officer at Hernando County Jail and served as assistant shift supervisor, unit manager and training manager. He transferred to David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center as chief of security and was promoted to assistant warden at Gadsden Correctional Facility before returning to HCJ as assistant warden and then as warden from September 2008 until his transfer to CCDF.
