Warden: Bobby Phillips
Bobby Phillips was named warden at CCA's Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility in April 2010. Phillips most recently served as Director of Security at CCA's Facility Support Center. He joined CCA in 1995 as assistant warden at Bartlett State Jail before transferring to the formerly-operated Sanders Estes Unit as assistant warden. He was promoted to warden at the formerly-operated Diboll Correctional Center. Before joining CCA, Phillips spent 11 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he started as a correctional officer and promoted through the ranks to become a warden. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and corrections from Sam Houston State University and a juris doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
